Having become part of the Third Transfer Circuit of the Moscow metro, Zyuzino station will improve the transport accessibility of the Zyuzino and Cheryomushki districts, and will reduce the loading of the southern sections of the existing overloaded subway lines – Sokolnicheskaya, Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya and Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya. In addition, the construction of the station will reduce the intensity of traffic in districts Obruchevsky, Cheryomushki and Zyuzino by 10-15%, this in turn will improve the ecological situation in the south-west of the capital.

The population in the zone of influence of the station is 105 thousand people. The passenger traffic is 150 thousand people per day, in the morning hours the peak is more than 15 thousand people per hour.
